Diurnal calling sequences:

1. Colorado July 25, 2001 (MO). Female in flight giving "quip" call. White-tailed Prairie Dog calling in the background.

2. Texas April 24, 2001 (WRE). "Khek" calls from bird in flight.

3. Colorado July 25, 2001 (MO). Perched female giving "khek" and "qui-dik" calls. Note two Red-winged Blackbird "jek" calls in the middle of the cut as well as other Yellow-headeds in the background.

4. Colorado July 13, 2001 (MO). Male in flight giving "khek" and "k-dk" calls. Black-necked Stilt, Killdeer, and Red-winged Blackbird calling in the background.

5. Arizona January 25, 2001 (WRE). "Quip" calls from birds in flight with Brewer's and Red-winged Blackbirds, White-crowned Sparrow, and Horned Lark.

6. Arizona January 25, 2001 (WRE). "Quip" calls from birds in flight with European Starling, Brewer's and Red-winged Blackbirds calling in the background.
