Similar species "Syeer" call similar to Black-capped Chickadee but lower, longer, and softer.

 

Behavior A somewhat irruptive migrant. Presumably a nocturnal migrant but also seen in redetermined migration. Calls regularly in short diurnal flights. Not known to give flight call at night.
