Diurnal calling sequences:

1. Minnesota November 26, 2000 (WRE). "Whee" and "whit-whu-whee" from perched bird with Red Squirrel and Red-breasted Nuthatch calling in the background and Downy Woodpecker tapping.

2. Minnesota November 26, 2000 (WRE). "Whu-whee" and "whit-whu-whee" calls from two perched birds with Red Squirrel and Gray Jay calling in the background.

3. Minnesota November 26, 2000 (WRE). "Whee" and "whit-whu-whee" from perched bird with Downy Woodpecker tapping in the background.

4. Ontario November 25, 2001 (WRE). Perched bird giving "whit-whu-whee" then in flight giving "whit-whu-whee" and "hee-hee-hee".

5. New York February 6, 2002 (WRE). Soft "hee" and "wheet-whu" calls from flock of immature birds as they take flight.
