Flight call description A high, finely trilled "seee" or a series of two to four "see" notes all on one pitch. Also, a high, descending "tsu".

4. Quebec September 20, 1989 (WRE). "Tsu" call given while foraging and in short flight.
Similar species "Tsu" call can be very similar to American Tree Sparrow but is typically weaker. Also similar to Brown Creeper but longer and higher. See descending seeps.
Behavior Nocturnal migrant but engages in redetermined migration. Gives both call types in redetermined migration flight and in short diurnal flights. Only known to give the "see" calls in night migration.
