Northern Mockingbird Mimus polyglottos

Flight call description No known flight call but occasionally gives a loud, emphatic "chewk", sometimes doubled or tripled, in diurnal flight.

Similar species Distinctive.

 

Behavior Primarily a nocturnal migrant but occasionally seen in redetermined migration. Not known to call in nocturnal migration.
