Flight call description No known flight call but occasionally gives a variety of odd notes and screeching calls in flight on the breeding grounds, primarily during interactions with other Snowies (David L. Evans, pers. comm.).
Behavior Nocturnal migrant. Initiation of spring migration flight may occasionally be seen late in the day (David L. Evans, pers. comm.). Not known to call during migration.
