Behavior Nocturnal migrant. Based on the behavior of Black-throated Green Warbler, presumably engages in redetermined migration. Gives flight call regularly while perched and in flight during the day and presumably during nocturnal migration.
Spectrographic description Measure calls (N=2) were 28.9-36.0 (32.9) mS in duration and in the 7.0-8.8 kHz frequency range. The frequency track was double-banded, rising, and sometimes upward-arched or with small modulations of 6-7 mS between humps. The separation between bands ranged from 680-970 Hz.
